Yahoo! and Nextel unveil Yahoo! Mobile Internet offering

Internet firm Yahoo! and Nextel Communications have announced a new agreement to offer Yahoo! Mobile Internet on Nextel handheld devices.
Yahoo! Mobile Internet includes a suite of Yahoo! products and services, including e-mail, instant messaging, games, sports and news content.
Nextel customers will be able to take advantage of Yahoo!'s wireless messaging capabilities anywhere on Nextel's nationwide network.
"We are excited to work with Nextel and give their millions of customers new ways to connect to Yahoo! while on the go," said Doug Garland, senior vice president, Yahoo! Mobile.
"Our new relationship with Nextel and the launch of Yahoo! Mobile Internet across their network is further proof of Yahoo!'s appeal to our carrier partners, and we are pleased to continue to develop solutions that drive adoption and usability of mobile data services in the United States."
Tim Dunne, vice president of digital media and business development for Nextel, added: "We are pleased to be working with Yahoo!, as it is a leading Internet company and one that our customers will find useful as they conduct business."
To access Yahoo!'s services, Nextel customers just log in to Yahoo! from their wireless devices.
