Gigablast expands index

Search engine Gigablast has announced that it has grown its index from 450 Million to 650 million pages during the last few months.
The Albuquerque-based firm has blasted through the half a billion pages milestone this year and has also added new partners, grown its staff and moved its headquarters to a larger complex.
"The Gigablast search engine continues on its pace for record growth in the most cost effective form available," said Matt Wells, founder of Gigablast. Founded in 2000, Gigablast Inc claims to have one of the largest and freshest indexes in the world. The search engine was created to index up to 200 Billion pages with the least amount of hardware possible and provides large-scale, high-performance, real-time information retrieval technology for partner sites.
The company offers a variety of features including topic generation and the ability to index multiple document formats. Clients range from Nasdaq 100 listed corporations to boutique companies.
