UK education site chooses Killersearch for partner
27 September 2004
The Educational Infomat Campaign, a national initiative to encourage internet use within the UK national curriculum, has chosen growing search site www.killersearch.co.uk to provide search engine facilities.
Infomat's website, www.infomat.net, offers an information network and filtering system for educational authorities, teachers, pupils and parents to communicate through a single safe and reliable forum.
"We're extremely pleased to be part of such an important project," the managing director of Killersearch parent company Info-Preneur Ltd, Glyn Lewis, commented.
"The correct choice of search engine is vitally important for students and teachers alike to be able to search the web not only at high speed but accurately. We're looking forward to helping provide Infomat users with an appropriate resource and real value."
Other Infomat partners include the Financial Times, Oftel and Save the Children. The site will boast an estimated 13 million users within the education community, using Infomat as their recommended information resource, when the network goes fully live in October.
Killersearch describes itself as "a super-fast, dynamic search engine designed to find the most useful and accurate results from the web".
