Lycos links up with eBay

12 July 2004

Lycos has teamed up with online auction site eBay.

The Lycos Shopping Channel acts a directory to websites, such as Dabs.com and Interflora, and shoppers can now use the service to search for links to new and second-hand items for sale on eBay.

"The online shopping market is very competitive and unless you continue to innovate your service, users are likely to look elsewhere," Duncan Dunlop, commercial director at Lycos UK, said.

"There can be no doubt that users enjoy shopping the eBay way and by including its auctions on our site we bring our users greater choice in the way they shop and the products on offer."
