LondonConnects, the e-government agency, is planning to develop a web portal that will provide access to public services in the capital.
The initiative forms part of a scheme that aims to bring all government services online by 2005.
The agency is currently seeking a contractor to design, develop and implement the portal. The contract is worth between £500,000 and £1 million and is expected to last at least 18 months.
The deadline for applications is June 14 and LondonConnects plans to launch the web portal by the middle of 2005.
