New search engine focuses on medical sites
25 March 2004
A new search engine dedicated entirely to health oriented sites has been launched.
Mediseeker aims to make it quick and easy for people to locate medical information without having to wade through advertising clutter.
"People are fed up with distracting advertising," GoFish Media founder Peter Da Vanzo explained. "So, we've decided to provide a clutter-free search engine, and focus entirely on the medical arena. This approach will help provide more relevant results for searchers".
"We don't aim to compete with the bigger search engines, but rather provide a complementary service that makes it easy for people to locate relevant medical sites quickly," he continued.
"For this reason, we focus on medical sites exclusively. We aim for quality listings and relevance, as opposed to indexing sites that have little to offer people who are seeking medical information".
Mediseeker features a "Free listing" policy for webmasters who own medical sites that qualify and offers niche on-line marketing opportunities to regional web site owners.
