Ask Jeeves unveils Smart Search

Ask Jeeves UK has launched a series of improvements to its news, time and weather information searches.
Smart Search, rolled out in the US last April, uses the Internet search firm's natural language and Teoma search technologies to deliver selected contents and direct results for popular searches.
The new features allow users to more quickly and easily find what they are looking for on the web by delivering relevant information directly into the search results page.
Ask.com has introduced a series of new Smart Search answers in the US, including maps, driving directions, images, flight delays, numerical conversions and shopping.
Ask Jeeves UK said that it would continue to roll out more Smart Search features throughout 2004.
