Lycos pays homage to email humour

Lycos has announced the winners in its second VOscars Awards, which honour the most popular cheeky emails, images and websites.
Top prizes went to Kylie for best female lead in a cheeky email and the top cheeky email overall, after her saucy underwear advert was downloaded 150,000 by visitors to the Lycos Viral Email Chart.
Runners up for the cheeky award were Madonna, Britney and Christina for the 'MTV snog', Janet and Justin for Janet Jackson's boob performance at the Superbowl and Kate Moss for her pole dance.
Lord of the Rings character Gollum received the best musical cheeky email gong for his rap debut, which was downloaded 103,000 times.
George Bush and Tony Blair shared the best male lead in a cheeky email award, with their mock Endless Love duet (downloaded 102,000 times), followed by Jonny Wilkinson in 'Go Jonny go go go', Saddam Hussein in 'Saddam begs for it', and the 118 118 men for '118 118 Geeks: Not the Honda Ad'.
The award for best comedy email went to the 'Fly Trap' from Mazda, which was downloaded 105,000 times.
The Lycos Cheeky Emails Chart is downloaded all over the UK by the public and cheeky emails are nominated for their 'wit, wisdom and services to email fun'.
