Kazaa tops Yahoo search poll

Music-sharing site Kazaa was the most searched-for item on Yahoo this year.
Commentators said interest in Kazaa showed that music industry attempts to fight free music downloads have not deterred net users from their search for free MP3s.
Second on the search engine's top ten list of 2003 searches was Harry Potter. The boy wizard was followed by American television show American Idol in third and Britney Spears in fourth.
Hip-hop artists 50 Cent and Eminem came fifth and sixth respectively.
Rounding out the top ten were the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment), heiress Paris Hilton, NASCAR and Christina Aguilera.
The most popular news searches were the war in Iraq and cloned babies.
