New strategy post in Ask Jeeves reshuffle

The search engine Ask Jeeves UK has appointed a director of strategy as part of a senior management reshuffle.
Head of research Myles Runham is the first occupier of the new position, which gives him responsibility for business planning and the compilation of intelligence on market trends and competitor activity.
Referring to Mr Runham's experience of corporate strategy at the BBC and Anderson Consulting, Ask Jeeves CEO Adrian Cox was optimistic about the benefits in store for the company.
'He has a proven track record in organisational development and the successful implementation of strategy', he said.
'He will play a key role in driving the strategic development of our business, delivering relevant, intelligent search results.'
Former Forrester Research analyst Shobhit Kakkar will be the new head of research, responsible for analysing user information and conducting brand and consumer research.
