Online advertising network launched by ISPs
1 December 2003
Wanadoo, Freeserve, Web.de and Libero have announced the launch of a new Pan-European online advertising network.
The agreement runs across six different countries - France, Germany, the UK, Spain, Italy and the Netherlands - providing advertisers with access to 30 million users viewing two billion pages every month.
The move comes in response to the growing demand for advertising on the Internet.
'The network answers customer demand for a powerful pan-European resource and reflects the increase in online advertising spend across Europe,' the companies said in a statement.
'Its structure gives a single point of contact for the customer and allows fast and flexible country specific consulting, with support and implementation across the whole handling process.'
