Local classifieds search engine Oodle has announced that it is rolling out sites for Phoenix (phoenix.oodle.com), Minneapolis/St. Paul (minneapolis.oodle.com) and Milwaukee (milwaukee.oodle.com).
The search company now supports 22 metropolitan areas representing over 40 per cent of the US online population since its launch in April this year.
Oodle, based in San Mateo, California, covers a range of sites, including Cars.com, Trucker-to-Trucker, Greenwich Time, Craigslist and the New York Times. The website also features an easy-to-use interface and innovative features like mapping and alerts. It has received praised from both disabled users and local community organisations.
"Since launching in April of this year, we've added 20 new cities, new, state-of-the-art features like dynamic mapping, and hundreds of new local and national classified sources," said Craig Donato, CEO and co-founder of Oodle. "Oodle now adds more than two million new classified listings to its index every week."
The Oodle Charity Directory, which offers comprehensive information on local charities, now features over 300 organisations. The company's mission is to "provide consumers with online tools that make it easier to buy, sell and give locally".
