Google confirmed as World Number One

Research by real-time intelligence web analysis firm OneStat.com has confirmed that Google's global usage share remains on the rise and that its search site is number one in the world.
At 56.1 per cent, Google's share is the highest it has ever been, having enjoyed a jump in global usage of 0.9 per cent over the last six years.
Yahoo is Google's closest competitor, with a global usage share of 21.5 per cent. MSN search is next at 9.4 per cent.
AOL Search has the fourth largest share at 3.7 per cent, while Terra Lycos (2.3 per cent), Altavista (1.9 per cent) and Askjeeves (1.6 per cent) are next.
Those statistics are an average from the last two months.
