Kelkoo improves service

The search engine Kelkoo has added a time-saving Quicksearch feature which will make it easier for its clients across Europe to find the products they are looking for.
Sophisticated indexation methods means results are given in less than a second, says Kelkoo, with an average response time of 0.227 seconds.
This makes it 43 per cent faster at finding products than Kelkoo's rival shopping site, Pricerunner.
More than half of the company's 10 million monthly users have already used the new search, and the number of people who click straight through to a shop has doubled since its introduction.
Ask Jeeves announced the launch of a similar American service earlier in the month, which it will import to the UK; Google and yahoo are expected to do the same.
