Yahoo! tests behaviour-based advertising
24 June 2005
Internet portal Yahoo! has reportedly been testing its contextual ads on webpages based on user behaviour.
The trial scheme, in conjunction with Revenue Science, contrasts with Google's AdSemse.
Revenue Science's technology targets ads by tracking a user's site behaviour.
Yahoo! claims that the new service will offer a better solution for publishers and advertisers and users of its advertising network, Search Engine Journal reports.
