MeeVee, a developer of personalised television search and recommendation engines for consumers, has announced the public launch of its beta search site.

The California-based company claims that its free search engine enables smarter, easier navigation of the rapidly expanding line-up of television programmes available today.

The search engine takes into account the sharp increase in satellite and cable offerings and the growing number of means by which content can be accessed, including online feeds.

MeeVee enables consumers to search a real-time programming database by keyword, program, actor or topic that closely matches their interests.
