Yumgo engine targets general and specialist searchers

A new search engine that aims to appeal to both general search engine users and users of specialist search engines has been launched.
Yumgo.com consists of one long search box, with buttons from various vertical search based websites.
Users of the new site can add more buttons and the single box enables searchers to query any search-based website from one page
Web users can search Google by entering a keyword and selecting the Google button, or Blinkx by entering keywords and selecting the Blinkx button.
Yumgo.com has a simple, spartan and draws on the expertise of many websites, allowing users to customise the layout the way they want, in accordance with their search and information requirements.
Yumgo said in a statement: "The variety and simplicity of searching the internet via Yumgo will no doubt challenge the future use of our individual homepage. Opening up a more personal approach to how we begin our journey and search and on the web."
