My expectation of IAB Europe is to meet some people from around the world to have their expectation in the market, to know what problem they face and to share with them all the information I can and to get from them some information to do my business best in my country Belgium.

Today the main issue that I face is to make people working together as IAB is made by competitors, the only thing is we have to make these competitors around the table work forward in market and not only for their company.

The most interesting part of today is having all this kind of contact with all the different countries, all the different people from IAB Europe and to see what they face and to see what they can do, what are the events and so on…quite interesting to have their feelings about all the market evolving in different countries.

My take-away from this day at the leadership council meeting is to have this contact but also to have a lot of contents what this afternoon where a lot of presentations which are very interesting for all people and for me to use on my marketing on Belgium.

Always the internet developing across Europe is very interesting and very fast and they’re a lot of countries we are starting such as Eastern Europe countries.

There are some other countries such as the UK which are really well developed.

Belgium is just in the middle and we try to boost this development in our country today.

Search is a big issue of course everywhere in the world but also in Belgium.

There is a lot of money made on search, the only problems we face is to get these figures as it’s not so easy to ask a player to provide us their figures, to measure the impact of search in Belgium today but we know, we feel, we see that search is really boosting in our country.

My prediction for the internet market in Europe in 2007 is that search will certainly be one key issue overall, in all countries in Europe, especially I think in Belgium such as there is a new player such as MSN search for instance faced to Google and all these together will provide some interesting investment in the interactive market.

Integration is the great point I think this year and maybe the year after, the way all agencies, creative agencies, media agencies can integrate online and offline is very important and we try to explain to all the players and advertisers of course to do integration, to have online within their media mix or to have offline within their online media mix.
