Alain Heureux is the new CEO of IAB Europe. Alain explains his plans to change IAB Europe to take it to the next stage and to ensure that the IAB in Europe is a significant player within the media mix. This is Alains overview of the IAB Europe master plan.
He refers to existing IABs in Europe and the number that are expected to form soon. He talks about the creation of new and modernised marketing currencies as one of the reasons that he has created an event, to be held initially in Belgium and will cross across Europe in future years. - Alain talks about his background and his interest in the creation of marketing agencies across europe before being elected President IAB Europe in 2006.
- He has created the House of Communication, a large, 15,000 sq meter building to regroup all of the professional associations in one place.
- There are 16 National IABs today, there will be 25 within a year or two and a renewed central body to represent them all.
- Alain plans to redefine the IAB with a renewed master plan with the objectives of developing, promoting, regulating, educating and defending.
- He describes how he plans to position the IAB center to the arena of the triple play, television, mobile and PC. The consumers are driving us towards this.
- Alain describes the importance of our industry working more closely together, to ensure that we unite in order to ensure that our industry negotiates the currencies of tomorrow.
